a side note: for those of you who may not know, high doses of steroids make you hungry and Carter gets most of his feeds through a G-tube in his stomach. He doesn't eat by mouth very often, but on steroids,
he'll eat anything.

Day 40... a chance to help
Here is a wonderful chance to help a great organization. IHOP is sponsoring a fundraiser for The Shriner's Hospital for Children. You purchase these $5 "donation cards" and IHOP will make a donation in your name to The Shriner's Hospital. In return, you get to come back to IHOP and enjoy $5 off your next breakfast! My family has been blessed twice by the Shriner's. My cousin and my little brother both received treatment there. All free of charge. And remember February 23 is National Pancake Day and they are serving a free shortstack to everyone who makes a donation to The Children's Miracle Network!
